![]() ![]() It now supports 16 simultaneous audio streams, up to 2 exabytes of data storage, and the markup is stored in an RDBMS. Expect that version sometime before the end of the month.ĮDIT: oh, by the way. Well, I better get the ZFS version out before I get started on that. Each USB drive would represent an entire game cartridge, yeah. maybe I should store each game on its own USB drive formatted with my own file system design. may have to invent my own branch of mathematics to make that happen.Īctually, you know what. Still working on the math to make that possible. The idea is you would resilver your games with each new release, which I'm hoping to change at least five times per release. But of course you'll need three hard drives to use future releases. The built-in vdev mirroring + striping in RAID-Z3 is going to be a big win for reliability and performance, too. Going to be great, you can take snapshots (and later restore them) of your entire games at any point, and the deduplication will help cut down on hard drive space for the firmware files. I'm currently working on storing games inside of ZFS zpools. Hey, don't limit me to just twelve more changes. It'll probably change a dozen more times. Last edited on 03:02:13 AM by Vitor Vilela Near pcm, so it's literally impossible to get it working with every single version, but getting it work with bsnes 070+ is good enough. It`s pretty annoying to work with (ROM folders, blah) but it`s something required once on your life (I already did it, but I lost it >_>). It won't work MSU-1, but it will give you a header that you can mix with your MSU-1 xml and make it work with most bsnes versions. Then, download Lævateinn, a bsnes debugger and run your ROM on it. xml rom header found on BMF's hack/MSU-1 thread. xml file or something on recent versions. If I remember correctly, you don't even need any. All bsnes users would stick with it and he can work with his higan and epic all-in-one accurate emulator without problem and MSU-1 wouldn't be a problem anymore. Though that carries the obvious problems and downsides.Įven better: Just convince him to release bsnes v1.00 with only SNES core from lastest higan, v070 interface and done. ![]() something unpleasant, if he changes the formats again. sfc file directly like you would with a normal snes game with rocketlauncher, no need for a bml file.Or find byuu in real life and threaten him with. For Example to setup BS Zelda the folder must contain the following: Under the "Rom Settings" tab in Rocketlauncher change the LibRetro_Core to "snes9x_libretro". The game must have all the required files in a folder named to match the game in the XML file. The bml files are like a cue file that tells the emulator what msu file to use and what audio tracks to use. You can keep this setup as is with the bsnes balanced core, it requires the included. In Rocketlauncher in the global emulator settings for the SNES CD system go to the "Rom Settings" tab. To Use The BSNES Balanced Retroarch Core: Create a new folder for each game named to match the name of the game in the xml file eg. Most games use Lunar IPS to patch the original super nintendo rom. Go to and download most of the game patches and pcm audio files. Setup Retroarch (SNES CD) in your global emulator, set your path to match where you have retroarch installed and setup the module to the "RetroArch (SNES CD).ahk" that is included in the download pack.Ĥ. Add a new system to Rocketlauncher called "SNES CD" and Copy over the Rocketlauncher files (Media, Modules & Rocketlauncher UI) into your Rocketlauncher folder.ģ. Create new wheel and copy over Hyperspin media and XML database.Ģ. Update 10-14-2017: Added Donkey Kong Country, Joe & Mac, Rockman & Forte, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Super Castlevania IV ,Super Ghouls n Ghosts, Super Mario Kart, Terranigmaġ. To get all the games setup takes about 30 GB. Complete wheel is around 1 GB for artwork and videos. Update: I've added Zelda Parallel Worlds, Zelda Goddess of Wisdom and Final Fantasy 6 Balance and Ruin, I've also added the complete database XML file that was missing. ![]() You can download the full wheel with rocketlauncher fades and pause backgrounds here: !As2jkrtIr7k7gR5gk57jEa1sCuYw ![]() The RocketLauncher module is setup to launch the games with Retroarch using the BSNES core, its my first wheel release so hopefully everything works ok. I've created mock up SNES CD covers and CD images based on some of the box art for the games out there. The wheel is based on SimplyAustins SNES Wheel as I like the clean look and background and have also used some of Aorin's Video Snaps from the great game hacks wheel that was released. I've created a complete wheel for most of the SNES CD MSU-1 games that are currently available. ![]()
